Bespoke silver-plated interior accents tarnishing rapidly despite being sealed, requiring frequent professional polishing.
Unique collection badging and exterior emblems loosening from adhesive failure and vibration during normal driving.
Limited-edition clock face in the dashboard developing moisture behind the crystal, fogging the display.
Commemorative leather upholstery showing uneven dye absorption and premature patina inconsistent with normal aging.

  • Attorney's fees paid by the manufacturer

Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Collection Lemon Law FAQ

My Silver Ghost Collection is a limited edition. Does the Lemon Law still apply?

Yes. The Song-Beverly Act applies to all new vehicles regardless of limited-edition or collection status. Your Silver Ghost Collection receives the same legal protections as any other new Rolls-Royce. The rarity of the vehicle does not exempt the manufacturer from its warranty obligations or lemon law liability.

The bespoke finishes on my Silver Ghost Collection are deteriorating. Is this covered?

All features and finishes delivered with the vehicle are covered under the manufacturer's warranty and the Song-Beverly Act. Premature deterioration of bespoke paint, silver plating, or leather constitutes a manufacturing defect that impairs the vehicle's value. Document the deterioration with photographs and report it to the dealer promptly.

Will the collectible value of my Silver Ghost Collection be considered in a lemon law refund?

Under the Song-Beverly Act, the refund is based on the actual purchase price paid, which for a collection vehicle may include a premium over standard models. While future collectible appreciation is not factored in, the full amount you paid, including any collection premium, would be the basis for the refund minus the mileage offset.

Rolls-Royce says the patina on my Silver Ghost Collection leather is intentional. How do I challenge this?

If the leather wear is inconsistent, uneven, or differs from what was represented at the time of sale, you can challenge the manufacturer's characterization. Under the Song-Beverly Act, obtain an independent inspection from a leather specialist and compare your vehicle to other examples from the same collection. Evidence that the wear is defective rather than designed strengthens your claim.
